February is one of my favorite months in San Francisco. The weather is crisp, sunny, the fog has usually lifted and hints of spring. I shot this wedding as a 2nd shooter for Andrew Weeks Photography. We started the day at The Inn at the Presidio, headed next door to the Chapel of Our Lady and ended the evening at The Golden Gate Club. Enjoy
There’s something about fashion that draws me right in, the lights, the intensity and the raw excitement. I was so excited to not only attend this event, but to attend it with my camera in hand. And at Golden Gate’s Conservatory of Flowers, one of my most favorite places on earth. Unite SF Design was a San Francisco fund raiser benefiting The Lunchbox Fund which provides meals for children in South Africa. Huffington Post has a great recap of the evening. The fashion show featured several local designers Justin Jamison, Mansoor Scott, Tony Sananikone and Tamara Jari. A few of my absolute favorites were the white gown and magenta and black dress. I’m certain my closet has room for both pieces!
Ali and Bill were such an adorably in love couple, and it was a blast to spend the afternoon laughing with these two goof balls! As Giant’s fans, it only made sense to shoot near and around the stadium and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful San Francisco afternoon.
The day before we left for Las Vegas to attend WPPI 2013, I had the opportunity to 2nd shoot for the fabulous Kara Miller again. This time we ventured into Portola Valley and shot at the beautiful Valley Presbyterian Church. It was such a gorgeous location for a wedding. Cherry blossoms, daffodils, and huge redwood trees. Here’s a look at Vien and Victoria’s celebration, a day full of laughs and love.
